First launch on Mac

macOS may ask you to approve Sarant.

The current Mac build is not yet Apple-notarized, so Gatekeeper can block the first launch even when you downloaded it from this official page.

Only approve the app when you downloaded it from sarant.in. You do not need to turn off macOS security.

    Install the app

    Open the DMG and drag Sarant into your Applications folder.

    Try opening Sarant once

    Open Sarant from Applications. If macOS blocks it, close the warning.

    Approve the first launch

    Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, then click Open Anyway beside the Sarant message.

    Confirm and continue

    Authenticate if asked, click Open, and launch Sarant normally from then on.
